An Unexpected Gift

Hello from Applejack Lane.  This week, my niece Beth surprised me with a Christmas gift that she crafted from an old Presbyterian hymnbook.

Since I am Presbyterian and played the piano for my church for about 25 years, she picked the perfect materials.  I am not putting this decoration away.  I think this angel can stay out on the piano for a long time to come.  Thanks Beth!

Beth did an incredible job crafting your angel. I do think you should leave it out to enjoy all year.

What a perfect gift for you! Your niece gets extra points for knowing exactly what would please you! I'm a Presbyterian, too, and have the old hymnal and the "new" one, and I know a couple of folks working on the upcoming one!

Thank you for sharing this lovely gift at Potpourri Friday! I hope you will make this a weekly party stop! I have just become your latest friend and follower!
