Children's Silver Spoon Collection

I love silver.  I know it takes a lot of work to maintain, but I have been very fortunate to have acquired some very nice pieces.  One of my silver collections consists of  curved feeding spoons, and  fork and spoon sets.  I like to look for nursery rhyme pieces or pieces that have animals on them.  It doesn't take much room to store and display these.  Come take a look.  (Pardon my pictures as I am not the greatest at photographing silver.)

First for the curved feeding spoons...

A Nursery rhyme spoon-This Little Pig Went To Market...

A curved feeding spoon with the alphabet in the bowl and monogrammed Beverley...

A curved spoon featuring a rabbit on the handle...

A Little Boy Blue fork with Steve monogrammed on the back......

This fork and spoon set was given to me by  special friends when our son was born...

My husband's feeding set given to me by my mother-in-law...

And an ABC set with kittens and monogrammed WBG on the back...

Thanks for stopping by Applejack Lane.

What a great collection! I have a few curved feeding spoons but none as neat as yours. That one with the alphabet in the bowl is my FAVE! Very neat.

I think that the pattern for your husband's feeding set is the same as my MIL's silver--she gave my DD a long-handled baby spoon in that pattern. I think it's my all-time favorite silver pattern!

What a great collection to have. Especially the ones that get handed down in a family.
Where and how do you display them?

What a great collection! I am surprised that all my years of browsing in antique stores and flea markets, I have not seen beautiful feeding sets like these before! I have seen many christening mugs, but not anything like this! How wonderful they are and how gorgeous! I'll have to keep an eye out for them now; they would make a great baby gift that could be kept for years to come!
