Outdoor Wednesday-Burt

Welcome to Applejack Lane.  I am joining Susan at A Southern Daydreamer for this week's Outdoor Wednesday.

This has been the Mother of Winters.  Even the dogs have their troubles during these storms.  My son just sent me this photo of One Stuck Burt.  He took the wrong path back to the house and got stranded in a two foot snow area.  He finally dug himself out with a little coaching!
Thanks for visiting.

Poor little Burt!!! The snows have been amazing this year!!! Our ice is slowly melting, but I don't know how cuz our temps are awful. HOWEVER, we are expecting 40s next week! I just saw two robins hopping around on the front yard...they must've also heard we were gonna warm up. They're waiting for the worms to thaw out!

Hope your week has been a great one! Dana

PS Your great niece is precious..and so is her big brother!

Burt is pretty cute :) His eyes seem to be saying "why are you taking my picture and not helping me out of here?"

Oh this is so cute! I always worry about my little shih tzu because our snow was so deep. She scared and stays under the deck. Joan

Poor little Burt! How sweet! Thank you for visiting and commenting on Isabella, our Ragdoll cat. Ragdolls are know for being docile and get their name from totally relaxing when picked up and cradled. Isabella does not meet that description at all-ha! But she comes close rolling over on her back to get brushed and rubbed on her tummy! Cats are so independent and do not conform to their personality as described by breeders-LOL! Love your pictures from your shop. Have a wonderful weekend! Kerrie
