Welcome Spring Luncheon

Spring has sprung, and Applejack Lane is ready for a cozy luncheon for two. I love this small marble top table that we have downstairs.  I think it is neat to use it without a cloth.  For color, I am using soft greens, yellow, and blues found in the napkins...

My daffodils always have a tendency to disappear with cold weather so I quickly cut a bouquet for the table and put them in my ironstone pitcher...
I changed position of the napkin and sherbet dish for these shots...
The sterling is my MIL's.There is quite a story behind her flatware...
Mr. Bunny is reminiscent of candy bunnies of the past...
Mrs. Bunny in her foil finery...
Sherbets removed...
This set of plates has a pink and blue to correspond to the green and yellow ones I am using...
The luncheon plates are an old Bavarian china pattern that my MIL gave me about 40 years ago...
Dainty Forget-Me-Nots on the rim...
Salt and pepper egg shakers...
Fostoria Century glassware...
Thanks so much for stopping by Applejack Lane today...
Please come back soon!
Thanks to Marty from A Stroll Thru Life and Susan of Between Naps On the Porch for hosting tablescape parties this week.

Well, I have the same foil-like bunnies too...don't you just love them. Your table is so springy and inviting. I am a fellow teacher too. Well, I am currently looking for a job (not the best time to be looking for one with the economy and all). Thanks for sharing. Happy Easter!

What a pretty Easter table! Those daffodils are spectacular, and I LOVE those yellow plates with the bunnies around the edge. I also love the eggs and nests in the sherbet glasses, and I've done something similar with my table for this week's Tablescape Thursday. You're going to tell us the story of your mother-in-law's sterling, aren't you??

Beautiful! I'm especially drawn to the bunny plates and their gorgeous luster. I just came across your blog and am pretty sure I've been to your Hallmark store. I'm originally from Roanoke and my two sisters and I meet there every October for a week and then head to the home of the one who lives in Stuarts Draft. Love getting back to that area to do the Dayton Farmers' Market, the Cheese Shop, etc.

I enjoyed my "visit" with you and will be back to your blog.

Best,
Bonnie

I love the Ceramic Easter Egg salt shakers. And... well, EVERYTHING!

Silverware is pretty, too. I bought some silverware as gifts this Christmas for my kids and there is nothing really beautiful and traditional out there anymore. Not at Kohl's anyway. :)

You have set such a pretty table. I love the mix of soft colors and those napkins epsecially catch my eye. They remind me of some plaid outfits that my mom made for my siblings and I 1 year for Easter. Those napkins alone say Easter to me. Thanks for bringing back the pleasant memories with your delightful table!
