Greetings from Applejack Lane. Today, I used some time for organizing for the year. I took two new calendars and marked birthdays, appointments, and any social engagements we have so far. I used yellow to highlight birthdays, blue for appointments, and pink for fun affairs. With that done, it's time to record some goals for the new year!

Great accomplishment Joan I use the highlighters to on my everyday list of things to do and my calendar. Where did you get the calender book pictured I need one of those, Halmark probably LOL

I came across your blog today and we have a few things in common. I recently retired from a middle school in Hanover County (VA) as a registrar. I have been collecting Hallmark ornaments since 1977. I posted on my blog this past Christmas about my collection of Nostalgia Houses and Rocking Horses. I also use some ornaments with my dollhouses because they are just the right 1:12 scale.
