Me- Read 100 Books???

For Christmas, Mr. W  gave me a Kindle. And I got the cover accessory in one of my very favorite colors from Dave.

I am so excited!  I have two friends who read voraciously from their Kindles. Therefore, I resolved to read more in 2011 to clean out the cobwebs that are in my brain.
Coincidently, I just read Cousin Kristi's blog Eat your Fruits and Veggies about Book Chick City's 100 Books In A Year Reading Challenge 2011.  I may not read all the way to 100 books, but anything is better than what I did in 2010.  If you would like to join the challenge, click here.

Happy reading!

That's awesome! I love that color. Where did you get the cover? I gave my husband a Kindle for Christmas and he's currently looking for a cover. Our Best Buy was completely out of covers last week. Take care and happy reading!

You are so high tech!! I have wondered about those things... and if people really like them. Do you "buy" the books to put on it? I hope you enjoy!!! and let us know when you reach 100!

You will love your Kindle! Great cover, too! I've had mine for over two years and love it, especially when I'm traveling. It's nice to download two or three books so I won't run out of reading material -- and not have to lug two or three actual books! But -- it's WAY too easy to click and buy books -- very dangerous for a bookaholic like me! Enjoy!

So glad you are joining in this challenge. I do not know how far I will get but it will be interesting to see. By the way, love the Kindle cover. I have one but mine is just tan. I am laughing at Tricia's comment about nice to download a couple of read. I do find that I buy a lot faster on the Kindle than I do with actual books. That instant gratitude! Got to love it.

Yeah! You got your Kindle just like you wanted for Christmas! Good luck on your reading. I used to read a lot more before I started blogging.

I have a cool red leather cover for my new iPad, a Christmas gift. I love it. I'm looking forward to reading books on the iPad. I was such a compulsive reader for so many years that I had to cool it, but the challenge is certainly tempting. Thanks for stopping by my post. The luncheon today was a great success.
