It's A Marshmallow World

We've had a rapid-fire snowstorm this afternoon here at Applejack Lane.  Everything is a white-out. We even had snow thunder. Our Winterking Hawthorne looks as though big puffs of marshmallow are hanging all over it...

We've had 10 inches of very heavy, wet snow in a very short period of time...
This is not the kind of snow one likes to shovel because of the snow's tremendous weight...
Glad this little fellow is so happy...
I bet he doesn't have to shovel out to get to work tomorrow.

You got a lot more snow than we did. Be safe driving to work!

Wow... how pretty! Those red berries are beautiful in the snow. We've had a few snow "storms" (2-4 inches) in NC this year, and my favorite sight is the red cardinals feeding at the bird feeder against the white background. Your little snowman is adorable!

Hello Joan,
we don't have snow anymore, but we had this winter a lot more than usual. As nice as it looks it is not so funny to have it. But I enjoyed the ppek on your beautiful tree. Don't the birds love those fruits?
Greetings, Johanna

You've gotten a lot of snow here! I guess we can count ourselves lucky here in OH. We've had snow, but nothing in comparison to what a lot of other places have gotten. I have a big honkin' snow blower that I use when it storms here- the workmen all think it belongs to the husband. Little do they know that I own the tools in this family! LOL

We were right in the thick of things too. And getting ready to be slammed again today - this time with ice.

I'm off to work...

Stay safe!
