A Sew-Sew Tabletop

Good morning from Applejack Lane!   It's Tabletop Tuesday "sew" we are going downstairs for our party today.

I have some antique sewing collectibles atop my modern day sewing machine...
A pin cushion box with some favorite sewing craft books...
Inside the drawer, a few thimbles...
A few gadgets- a rug hooker and needle cases...
Darners...
Advertising items such asMorralls Mulberry Toilet Pins made in England...
A wooden sewing box with great dove tailing...
Filled with scissors...
Another type of pin cushion box...
And a paneled  daisy lamp by which to sew...
"Sew" long from Applejack Lane.  Thanks to Marty from A Stroll Thru Life for sponsoring this event.

Oh, I love all your vintage sewing items -- such a charming display! I have my grandmother's gold thimble, but what a collection you have! I also have her sewing box on a stand -- I need to figure out how to display it and whether to refinish it.

Oh my, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all of your antique sewing items. I havn't ever seen a pincushion like the one with the drawer and such a great collection of thimbles. The box is perfect for holding scissors. What a great vignette. It not only looks pretty but what a wonderful conversation area. Gorgeous. Thanks so much for joining the party. This is such fun. Hugs, Marty

Joan I love this vignette on the sewing table. A perfect collection of things. I also spied a bench in the background that looks interesting. Enjoy your weekend! Proud to be an American, Joan

What great collectibles. The darners are my favorite - does anyone do that any more?
