May's Vintage Alphabet Party

It's time for the monthly Vintage Alphabet Party   Somehow, I missed April's party for letters E and F.  So today we are doing letters G and H

G stands for German baskets.  Here is a small collection that I have.
They really may not be called German baskets, but  mine are marked Germany on the bottom.
I am not sure of their purpose besides just being decorative.  They might be souvenir items since this blue one is marked Souvenir of Detroit, Michigan.  If any one knows more, please comment.

For this party, H will stand for that great radio, television, and movie cowboy hero-Hopalong Cassidy.  Here are pictures of Mr. W. from the early , early 1950's all decked out in his Hopalong cowboy suit equipped with his six shooters.
This outfit is the real McCoy.  Can you see Hoppy's picture on the front?
What would life be without a Hopalong official knife?
I am so glad you stopped by Applejack Lane today.  Visit Melody at Etsy Cottage Style for more participants on Vintage Alphabet Sunday.

Joan, how precious is that picture of Mr. W in his Hopalong cowboy suit! This will be wonderful to have handed down in the family. Joan, I also wanted you to know my Mosaic Monday post was of the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. I too have not been on the NASA tour in our area. Ooh, another place to go...Keep your flags-a-wavin' Joan II
