A Few Of My Favorite Things

For weeks, I have been looking at my poppy dresser tray and hatpin holder in my bedroom...

FINALLY, I found the real thing in my flower bed-
There are only two poppy blooms this year, but hopefully, there will be more next year at Applejack Lane.

Beautiful dresser set and so are the real ones. I say every year that I'm going to plant poppies. Love to see them in bloom.
Hope you have a terrific weekend. ~ Sarah

Your poppies look wonderful. Just take the heads and shake them like a pepper shaker after the blooms fade.

Oh I absolutely love your tray and pin holder and then the real flowers. How gorgeous are they. I just love them. Thanks so much for your sweet comments about my new pillows. You asked how I close them, actually I just leave an opening on the bottom and then blind stitch them together after I put the insert in. I always use cording, so you can blind stitch it really easily in behind the cording. If I want to change them, I just snip the hand stitching and it opens right up to do another cover. Hope you have a great day and find the fabric you want for the backs of your pillows. Hugs, Marty. PS Maybe just look for a solid fabric in a color that is in your pattern.
