An Egg-stravaganza For Tabletop Tuesday

Applejack Lane has been snowed under for over two months now.  This weekend, I pulled out some Spring decor.  I always put this dough bowl on the dining room table with my collection of Victorian blown glass eggs.  It's a very simple eggs-travaganza!

All kinds of blown and painted eggs...
Some are embossed; some are plain...
All are egg-tra special.
Thanks for dropping in today.  Marty, our new hostess at A Stroll Thru Life has more Tabletop Tuesday participants.

Lovely! I've never seen these Victorian eggs. I have some that were hand painted by one of my mom's friends in the 70s & 80s but hadn't seen these antique treasures. Thanks for sharing.

Your collection is impressive. I have only one egg and it is my favorite Easter decoration. I don't often see them in antique shops. Maybe I need to start looking a little more!

Your bowl of decorated eggs is lovely, isn't it great to be able to start decorating for Spring?

Blogging Friend, I love the way these look sitting in the bowl. What a neat collection! I'll have to keep an eagle eye and look for these in my shopping trips. Joan

The Victorian eggs are beautiful! Thank you for your kind comments on my blog. Blogging is 'A Brave New World' adventure for me, and I'm thoroughly enjoying the journey. I read your profile, and I think that you and I have a great many things in common. I am a former English teacher; I have decided to reread the classics. I am currently reacquainting myself with Sir Walter Scott's IVANHOE. I look forward to getting to know you through your blog. Thanks for the invitation to visit Applejack Lane. Maybe I'll walk through the door of the Hallmark Shop one day! Cherry Kay
