Blue Monday

Saturday morning, he arrived at Applejack Lane!  I had been waiting for over a week.  Brenda from The Rusty Thimble e-mailed me and said he was on his way. And then the mailman came up the lane and stopped in our driveway.  My husband brought in a box.
"What do you think this is?  he asked.
"Oh, it's here!"  I exclaimed.

Want to see what came?
Isn't he dear?
Brenda from The Rusty Thimble has an Etsy shop connected with her blog, and that's where I spotted him...
His little rusty heart basket...
His rusty bell buttons...
His arms and legs made of rusty nails...
Yep, he's a rabbit, all right...

Hi Joan...

Oohhh...I just adore your rabbit! He's sooo cute! Did Brenda make him? Well my friend, I certainly can see why you were excited to see a package in the mail...your rabbit is just adorable!!! Thank you for sharing him with us!

I also wanted to thank you for coming by and taking a peek at my Birds of a Feather tablescape...and for leaving me such a sweet note! I sure did enjoy it! Thank you!!!

Warmest wishes,

I can't believe that I didn't comment earlier in the week about your cute rabbit. I must have looked at your pictures quickly before school. I love rabbits and this one is as cute as he can be.

Thanks for the information on my postcard. I never would have known that it was valuable. I'll have to look through the box and see if there are anymore by that brand name.

A while back I asked you to email me. I recently discovered that the email link on my blog doesn't work. If you did email me, I didn't get it. The link is fixed now. I want to meet you sometimes when I'm visiting Mama!

Joan, he is dear. Over the years I've purchased various rabbits or dolls done from old quilts. This one is very special with all the creative accents. I also love the script on the card proclaiming: Rabbit. Too cute! I know he has found a good home.
