Silver For Valentine Flowers

It's time for Silver Sunday again, and I must say this party has helped me keep my silver looking just spiffy!  For that, I thank at Gypsy Fish Journal for the cleaning inspiration. Since Valentine's Day is equated with love and flowers,  I thought I would share a few silver vases that are in my possession.

The first vase has a fluted collar...
The next vase was my MIL's favorite.  For years on the first Sunday in March, she placed a dozen of red roses in it on the church altar in memory of her husband...
The bud vase was a wedding  gift from a dear friend who became a florist...
Happy Valentine's Day from Applejack Lane!

What beautiful vases. You certainly were busy polishing.

I have a vase very similar to the first one with, as you put it, a ruffled collar. Who was yours made by?

Beautiful vases! I love the story behind the second one where your mil put roses on the alter for her husband.

You asked a question about how I did the flange on one of my pillows. Would you mind emailing me sometimes so I can go into an explanation on it rather than here?

Happy Valentines Day! I'll bet you were a busy bee yesterday at the store!!

What beautiful silver vases -- I can't decide which one I like best -- the fluted collar one is nice . . . but then there is the bigger vase . . . and then nothing like a silver bud vase! . . . Beautiful vases!

What a great collection! I love that your MIL used the vase to remember you FIL in Church.

And I'm ashamed to say that my silver is so very tarnished. But, one day soon...

Enjoy!
