It's a Christmas in July Tablescape Thursday!

For every Hallmark store owner, we are celebrating Christmas in July with our Ornament Premiere. So what better way for us to contribute to Tablescape Thursday than with a little bit of holiday cheer. For this occasion, I am using my Lenox Winter Greeting's Everyday dinner ware. I am sure that many of you have this same winter pattern. I enjoy using it after Thanksgiving through the new year.

For those of us who live in Virginia, the cardinal is a very special bird.

Take away the sauce bowl, and we see the salad plate...

and finally the dinner plate.

There are very limited pieces to this Lenox pattern-sauce bowls, soup bowls, salad and dinner plates, and an occasional serving piece.

I enjoy collecting antique napkin rings.

The center piece is a metal sled filled with magnolia leaves, a hurricane shade, and a tall candle. If this were in December, I would also use nandina berries, and some pine to round out the sleigh.

This little fellow was made by my friend Linda many years ago and now rests in the magnolia in the sleigh centerpiece.

A few Hallmark ornaments mark each place setting. This is a new series call Season's Treatings.

And who couldn't resist a snowman or two. This little fellow is Zak E. Zamboni from the Snowtop Lodge series.

The Community Church is the fourth in series from Noelsville.

Could you guess there is a golfer in our household? The Teed-Off Gopher from Caddyshack is sure to be a hit.

Since it is Christmas in July, we must have a hint of patriotism on our tablescape.

Alas, Christmas in July must come to an end.

I know those dishes!! I love seeing all the Christmas in July tablescapes. I'm too lazy to haul my decorations down from the attic, but I'm planning to copy some of these pretty tables in December.

I love Christmas and this post is just enough to tide me over until December. Did you know there are only 163 days until Christmas.
Oh one other thing. Valerie has listed you in a post as her buddy. Does she know that she doesn't have her comments turned on? I would love to leave a comment but there is no place to do so.
If you have a way to contact her maybe you could let her know. There wasn't an email either.

Love Christmas as celebrating twice a year is twice the fun. Am living down under where December is the height of summer and folks often enjoy a mini Christmas in July.

Your tablescaping is ever so pretty.

I just thinking last week that I'm ready for fall already. But then the weather changed and we've had 3 gorgeous days in a row. I guess I can wait for cooler weather a little bit longer.

Gorgeous table!

How pretty! I too love cardinals, as they seem to love my yard here in Texas! I'm so glad you took off each plate to give us a full view of what was beneath it. I shall remember that tip! I love those red glasses! I've been looking for some like that.

I adore those plates!!! With all your wonderful "red birds" frolicking on the table, I was reminded of "Jack", the cardinal in Fanny Flagg's A Redbird Christmas. If you haven't read this, you should. It's so heartwarming!!!

Merry Christmas!!! and thanks for the inspiration.

I worked for Lloyds Hallmark in Mechanicsville for 8 1/2 years -- and I was there last weekend for Ornament Premier to put my ornaments in layaway for the kids and grands. Always an ornament each year among their gifts. Love the Virginia cardinals. Thanks for sharing your lovely table with us.

Very fun and festive! Cardinals in winter are one of my very favorite things. You used a nice variety of reds and brought everything together nicely -- congratulations!

Wonderful! Love the striking colour combo and your centerpiece. Those dishes are lovely! Funny, I was thinking that for Americans (I'm Canadian), it would be great to tie in something about the 4th of July with their Christmas in July table and you did it! Love it!

I am so happy that you came over and joined us today. Your table is very pretty and the Cardinal is always a favorite of mine. I taught at a school for 17 years that had the Cardinal as a mascot, so it is an old friend of mine.

The ornaments around the table make it really unique. My DH is a die-hard golfer (he has been getting up by 6 a.m. this week to watch The Open this week. He has a group of golfers form England that come over once a year to play here for a week and they have been burning up the emails all week.) I have to look for a Caddy shack ornie.

Tbanks for participating today.
